Attention Residue
Attention residue describes the lingering thoughts or feelings from a previous task that continue to influence your current task.
It occurs when you switch from one task to another and your brain still thinks about the previous task. It's strongest after incomplete work and frequent switches.
Reduce it by finishing a small sub-step, writing the very next action before you stop, and batching similar tasks. Protect focus blocks from interruptions so residue has less chance to build.
